Bishop Dr. Francis Akwaboah is a native of Duayaw-Nkwanta, Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. He was called into Pastoral Ministry in the year 1988 and dedicated all of his time to the ministry in 1993. He was ordained as an evangelist in the year 1990 and as a pastor in 1993 by Arc. Bishop Malachi Ramsay. Bishop Dr. Akwaboah was consecrated as the first bishop for Christian Hope Ministries International by the Ministerial Council of Great Britain Bishopric Council in 2002. Bishop Dr. Akwaboah holds a diploma in the degree of Licentiate in Theology, two bachelor’s degrees with distinction in Human Resources Management and Pastoral leadership from Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary through the University of Liverpool London.

He continued to earn a Master’s Degree in Administration and a PHD in Pastoral Ministry from Newburg Theological Seminary Evansville in Indiana, United States. He has another Doctorate in Theology from the North Carolina College of Theology in United States. Bishop Dr. Akwaboah now stands as Dean of North Carolina’s College of Theology Satellite Extension Program in Ghana and as the proprietor of the school of mercy preparatory junior high school in Ghana.The man of God has been married to Elizabeth Amo, Mensah Akvaboah for the past 36 years. They are blessed with seven children: six boys and a girl. All of the children are saved and serve faithfully in the ministry. Bishop Dr. Akwaboah is popularly known for his outstanding work in the deliverance ministry, his gift of healing and prophetic insights. He teaches and preaches the pure doctrine of the Lord.
